OOOOF I was *WAITING* for that other shoe to drop, absolutely gutted my poor little meow meow had to catch a stray! At this point, I’m still of the opinion that the two cuties should just go off and be that meme of the girl sitting on top of the other girl doing her makeup 😛 Genuinely tho, I do SO hope they get a best friend arc and that the fox winds up with someone lovely if he winds up with anyone! I suppose the moments where he’s nice would count, my read on that so far is those are flashes of his actual personality coming to the fore)!
So I gotta say, I wouldn’t exactly call myself a fan of this – NO tea, NO shade, NO pink lemonade, I am blowing kisses to each of you enjoying this completely – but the art is incredible and it’s been SO interesting engaging with it and thinking about why I’m reacting the way I am…it inspired me to start journaling various little epiphanies I’ve had, some about themes I like and some about themes I don’t, and I’m totally inspired to write a story now! People often say “don’t like don’t read” but I legitimately think that sometimes it’s not a bad thing to engage with media that might not be your bag and think about why it makes you feel the way it does, as long as you’re not having a trauma response or something of course (which I might at some point actually have to this, but cross that bridge when we get there…I’m an extremely physically small person, and seeing small people just kind of tossed around this kind of Möbius strip of pain hits CLOSE, it’s so easy to feel helpless when you’re tiny :’( ). Art is about an emotional reaction, and I like to think about art that might be challenging for you as a roller coaster – we all get that swoop in the stomach, and that’s what they’re intended to create…the only difference is whether you like it or not, or want to get used to it or…you get what I mean 😛
