Omg this might be WAY more my shit than expected ~ ! Apparently all I need is an introspective scene on a rooftop and I’m all in LOL It has a whiff of Only Twittering Birds Fly and I would bet $5 the author is a fan…I can’t quite say why, the settings are SO different, but there’s something there in the DNA (this isn’t an insult!)
I also think it’s so cute how clear the comic is that they’re NOT RELATED. It’s rad too how they’ve used the complicated family ties to really spice things up as opposed to just a simple wave off of incest LOL You can see how they would have been close but also ACUTELY aware they weren’t family by blood – it’s a level of weird and messy that really works for me so far!
