I recommend to you guys to read the novel. The story is much better than the manhua. It explained every detail and feelings and pov of each character. You would appreciate the character development of the ml in the novel coz the story in manhua is rushed.

I don’t get it, there’s no chemistry being established…Yuan could have spent the time tying to quietly help repair Po’s relationship with his family (remember when that was a thing??? Was that just tossed in there to give him some sort of random tragic backstory???) he could have shut his mouth about the marriage thing, and IDK…spent the time making something super beautiful in private for Po to have when he passed. But no. Flowers and sitting on his doorstep. Every day.
Yuan’s not pretty, he’s not charming, and his entire personality seems to be obsessing and stumbling around drunkenly assaulting people…is the fact that he’s the emperor supposed to be what’s appealing about him??? Cuz that’s *not actually a personality trait*.
