But a lot of elements are missing too…
-The way Yusheng leads the investigation thanks to the key necklace…he goes back to their old school and reconstructs his aggression from the past and how NianNian saved him…he discovers Luan’s imposture and has him tortured…
-The terrible nights of NianNian because of the pain of the legs….
-Yansheng’s exacerbated stalking to the point
to blindfold NianNian to be able to touch him…and the poor Tang Shuo guy who was almost accused because he was around at the same time…
I hope they won’t mess up too much the sequel with the appearance of Yusheng’s “brother” “the disappearance” of the elder brother of tang shuo, etc…
I think the novel is far better than the manhua… the development of the characters are very intelligent, and especially Yansheng, his redemption is one of the key points of the author’s genius!!! 😊

– In the novel gu yansheng found out that niannan was the person who saved him through nian’s mother’s portrait that went viral
– The WE impersonator Got tortured so much after gu yansheng found out the truth
– Niannan never told him that the necklace was his, not until gu yansheng found the mother’s portrait.
– Gu yansheng realize his feelings earlier than he realize niannan was the person who saved him
Unlike here where he realize his feelings at the same time he found out the truth
– niannan suffered way more, he had a permanent leg damage due to gu yansheng’s abuse
– gu yansheng stalked niannan more. He even blindfolded him and touch (just touching) niannan, went inside his house to do that again this happened before he knew about niannan being his savior in the past
Maybe I forgot some, I read it long time ago but its a bit rushed and different than in novel. Tho personally I think its fine
Seeing people sad makes me sad and feel sorry for them, however in this case it only lasts a second then I remember that he’s the same man that smashed Wen Nian’s mother’s piano. Physical sounds heal, other material items can be replaced, that piano cannot. I understand he didn’t have the same kind of feelings for his own mother but he’s not an idiot, that was cruel! I can’t feel bad for him. (Which makes me sad, but I can’t)
