Although it’s obvious that Mc is different but I think the ml looked at it differently just as what we just read, the previous Mc was arrogant and by the looks of it loud, that switch looked like to the ml like Mc has became distant, tho they were never close, I think ml liked the attention that the original mc gave him(all be it ml didn’t notice he liked it) that’s my analysis
