@lovemePns I genuinely find your comment a little hard to understand. Also, I especially signed up and signed in just to reply to that comment.
I’m confused on who you are referring to as the “mc” or “main character” because technically both master and disciple are main characters. At the same time they were both each other’s master or disciple at some point,
“…all mean to guilty-trip him! If you want to revenge…”, I’m guessing you are referring to the current disciple to somehow guilt-trip his current master. I think if it was to be a little realistic in the story, considering that the current master has the special sword that can only be wielded with special conditions such as “**emotionless** and merciless”, trying to guilt someone kind of proven to be emotionless is not really a very smart move in my eyes.
“Why would safe his loved one?”, slightly confused me and made me realize that you were actually probably referring to the current master and questioning why he would save his current disciple despite knowing he has intentions of killing him. Well, for current master clearly has feelings of owing the current disciple very much to the point he mentions in his thoughts he would be willing to die if the current disciple so wished it after he gets strong enough to protect himself. Also, as you’ve stated and referred to the current disciple (my guess) as “loved one”, isn’t it normal to want to save or protect someone you love or care about?

I was about to say the mc is smart on the first few page. But, after that, ugh..
At least use all mean to guilty-trip him! If you want revenge than do it throughly! Why would safe his love one? Are stupid?
*sigh* this is why i still choose happiness. Revenge was never a good thing.
