Bruh, the story made me hate the ML so much I don’t even care about his sad past. He had mommy & daddy issues? Doesn’t change the fact that the ML is hurting MC’s close friends and literally ANYONE the MC interacts with.
Doesn’t change the fact that he hired loan sharks to attack the MC. That’s why ML didn’t want to call the police when loan sharks attacked MC. If he did call the police, the loan sharks would’ve revealed that the ML hired them to attack the MC.
