Oh, fully! And honestly, from the perspective of this starting as a romantic light novel, that’s definitely the more fun scene to write anyway, especially if the author’s primary objective was peppering in (hah!) as much spice as possible 😂 I absolutely get it, even though I personally have basically zero feelings on either character or the romance (totally willing to let the story win me over as it goes on tho)! Except maybe that Wanning has fun hair, idk 😂 Fight scenes are just cool, and I’d love to see this artist flex! 😂 Because the art is almost 100% of what I’m here for as it stands 😂😂😂

Dude, Mo Ran’s disobedient puppy dog personality here is so fucking adorable. he’d say that he hates chu wanning everytime he breathes but then gets obsessed with everything cwn decides to do or say.
Also @MissEve, although sure it might be dissapointing to not see the #1 boss bitch slay guard’s ass, this arc is told in mostly told in Mo Ran’s POV. If the chapters had titles, they would keep repeating “This Venerable One….” at the start because generally, this whole part of the story is about him :)))

…I gotta admit, I’m a LITTLE bummed that of the two scenes going on simultaneously, we saw Moron’s wet dream and not Wanning kicking ass and taking names 🙁
